Your new favourite creative, here to give your brand a bit of Northern soul

Your new Mancunian bezzie mate
Nice to
meet ya!
I’ve always had a thing for the magic of tiny details (honestly, I blame Polly Pocket). That’s why I specialise in weaving bits of you into your brand wherever I can. I’m all about making designs that resonate, feel like home, and help you truly connect with your brand.
Vintage design is a huge source of inspo for me. You might’ve already spotted some ‘90s vibes (did you see the Furby illustration? Cute, right!). But I’m not all about one era. What I love about retro influences is how they’ve stood the test of time. They’re classics for a reason, which lets me create designs that are both timeless and bursting with personality.
Enough about me though—tell me about you!

1. First Chat & Discovery
We kick things off with a chat to get to know each other and your business better. I'll ask you a bunch of questions to really understand what makes your brand tick. It's all about uncovering those key insights that will shape our journey together.
2. Research & Mood Boards
Once I've got the lowdown, I dive into research mode. I'll scope out your competitors, check out your online presence, and take note of any ideas you've got in mind. Then, I'll put together a couple of mood boards to show you where I think we could go with the design.
3. Design Development
With your chosen mood board in hand, I'll get to work crafting a design that reflects your brand's vibe. It's a process of trial and error, tweaking things until it feels just right.
4. Revision & Refinement
We'll go back and forth a few times, making tweaks and adjustments until you're happy with the final design. Your feedback is crucial every step of the way.
5. Finalisation & Delivery
Once we've nailed it, I'll tie up any loose ends and get everything ready for you. You'll get the final files, and I'll send over the invoice. Simple as that.
6. Ongoing Support
Even after we're done, I'm still here for you. If you ever need anything or want to chat about your brand's progress, just give me a shout.
Full transparency always.
Here’s my usual questions, no need to go hunting.
What sets you apart from other designers?
Every designer brings something unique. The key is finding someone you vibe with!
Great design involves strategy, but also a touch of intuition. The more I understand your vision, the better I can translate it into a design you love. On the technical side, I come from a strong UX/UI design and software testing background, so I’m meticulous about details.
On a personal note: I’m wildly creative, very laid-back, and my Northern charm is as authentic as it gets, babes! 🐝
What is your design style classed as?
So, branding design is more than just logos (stay with me, it’s relevant I promise!). When it comes to logos, I’m all about minimal but impactful design. I want your logo to be clean, timeless, and strong enough to hold its own.
But as for the rest of your brand, I want to see personality. That’s what makes it memorable.
As far as illustration goes, the style is really dependant on the brand vibe. Sometimes it’s more stripped back, other times it’s more big & bombastic.
For my personal brand (everything you’re seeing here). I would class it as colourful, slightly eccentric, like me in pixel format.
What's your favourite kind of project?
It’s less about the project itself and more about the relationship.
My favourite projects are the ones where my client feels completely at ease with me. When they’re comfortable enough to be honest, share their thoughts openly, and just be themselves, the whole process flows so much better.
What are your brand values?
Authenticity, honesty, and collaboration. These are non-negotiables for me. If any of these are off, the whole process feels wrong.
Authenticity is about creating a brand that feels like you. Your personality, your quirks, your unique take on the world.
Honesty is the backbone of what we do. I need you to feel comfortable being totally upfront with me, and I’ll do the same with you.
As far as collaboration goes, that’s where the magic happens. Your input is everything because, at the end of the day, this is your brand. My job is to help bring it to life in a way that feels authentic to you.
Any advice for newbie designers?
Leave your ego at the door, it’s not helpful here. If you’re keen to develop your own style, do yourself a massive favour and stay off the Instagram Explore page. Mimicking another designer’s work might feel like an easy way to start, but trust me it’ll come back to bite you on the arse.
With regards to imposter syndrome. It’s not a matter of if it shows up, it’s when. The truth is, it’s a constant companion for most creatives. Don’t let it grind you down. Instead, recognise it for what it is: a natural part of the process. Move through it gently, give yourself grace, and know that it doesn’t define your worth as a designer.
What does 'You Look Mint' even mean?
In all seriousness real though, it’s the reaction I want when you, or anyone else, sees your brand. I want people to stop and say, “Wow, that looks really good!”
