How I Would Brand a Social Media Manager

Today, I’m taking you behind the scenes of another passion project: crafting the brand identity for “Ayesha” a Social Media Manager!

Table of Contents

Why a social media manager?

Social media managers are everywhere, right? So, what makes one stand out? Ayesha is all about connecting with Gen Z and Millennial audiences in a way that feels effortless and real. No overproduced content, no exhausting trends-for-trend’s-sake—just authentic, impactful strategy that resonates.

Her work focuses on taking the stress out of social media for female business owners. She’s not just managing accounts; she’s creating communities and helping brands shine online without losing themselves in the process. I knew her brand needed to feel fresh, approachable, and absolutely unapologetic in its energy.

The Spark

Social media is crowded. Ayesha’s brand had to cut through the noise while staying true to her laid-back yet innovative approach.

I wanted to reflect the balance she strikes between easy-going connection and sharp strategy. Her brand needed to capture the power of authenticity while staying playful and vibrant—something that would instantly grab attention but still feel trustworthy and professional.

The Vibe

Think bold, rich, and vibrant. Ayesha’s brand is all about making an entrance while keeping things fresh and approachable. The design feels modern and innovative but with a retro-inspired twist to bring in a touch of personality. It’s not just a brand that looks good—it’s a brand that speaks to the heart of her audience.

I wanted to avoid the tired clichés often tied to social media marketing (looking at you bubblegum pastels). Instead, the brand leans into a cool, confident energy, reflecting her unique way of cutting through the fluff and delivering what works.

The Deliverables

Here’s what Ayesha’s brand got:

  • Custom Logo Suite: A full set of minimal yet bold logos, inspired by vintage typefaces with a modern twist.
  • Patterns and Illustrations: Playful, one-of-a-kind elements to give her brand flexibility and personality across platforms.
  • Business Cards: A tangible, striking piece of her brand for networking IRL.
  • A Vibrant Brand Palette: A bold and fresh set of colours to mirror her high-energy approach.
  • Brand Guidelines: Everything wrapped up in an easy-to-follow guide, ensuring her new visual identity feels cohesive everywhere.

The Reflection

This project was such a fun challenge—bringing Ayesha’s personality and approach to life in a way that didn’t just feel like another cookie-cutter social media brand. Her brand is confident, cool, and unapologetically bold, just like her.

Working on this reinforced my belief that branding isn’t just about visuals—it’s about creating a vibe that resonates with the right people. Ayesha’s new identity does exactly that: it feels modern, connected, and like a breath of fresh air in the social media space.

Branding for a social media manager like Ayesha is proof that even in a saturated industry, the right visuals and strategy can make you unforgettable.
